We talked to the owner who was very helpful with our questions regarding the plants. There appears to be a lot of educational types of display around the grounds, so that you can make a educated purchase. For a business, you almost feel like you are walking around a garden, with all of the plants, displays, and fountains, but it is a retail store, not a attraction. There is however picnic tables around the building and a nice setting to enjoy lunch.
The eating area inside is very small and in the middle of the store. We had a terrific lunch at the deli counter, a freshly made italian, veggie type of sandwich. We actually did not see the butterfly pavilion. In addition to a great nursery, and outside furniture display, There is a very nice farmers market, bakery, candy counter, specialty foods, gift shop etc. This is actually a commercial nursery business with a lot going on.
